[edit] Card 4

[edit] Summary

On its first voyage, the luxury liner RMS Titanic hit an iceberg and sank. 1,517 people died, 706 survived, and only 333 bodies were recovered. Cahills have long believed that one of the 39 Clues was on board, but no one knows if the Clue sank to the bottom of the ocean or made it to America with a survivor. Finding out WHO was transporting the Clue is key to discovering what happened to it. The three circled names on this list are the Titanic passengers the Lucian branch thinks were most likely to be carrying the Clue. Which one was it?

Monthly Bulletin

Ahoy, mateys! This is Captain Jack, and we're about to cruise on with another weekly bulletin full of exciting Titanic finds!

First, we have to mention Ms. Angela Dempsey's fantastic new line of knit Titanic cozies. They're knit in the shape of the Titanic, and you can put them over anything ugly that you have sitting around -- tissue boxes, toilet paper rolls, the cat, anything! Most of them look the same as her last batch of Titanic cozies, but for the very first time she's offering them in "stage three sinking" form. They're almost vertical! I've already ordered twelve.

Something else turned up this week in jewelry news. A Mr. George McClain of Experiment, Georgia -- how's that for a town name? -- came across a cameo that was reportedly worn by a passenger. Nobody is sure how he found it, but he's a funeral director, so some of us have our guesses. Anyway, he says he's not interested in selling it, so put your pocketbooks away. The cameo surfaced for a little while some years back, but then disappeared again. I'd sure like to know which body he got it off of. Ha-ha, just kidding, of course!

That's all for now. Hope to see everyone at the convention next week!
