As the sneakiest of the branches, the Lucians have sent coded messages using everything from speedboats to trained rats. But the Lucians also like speed, so coded e-mail is their favorite way to pass secrets. Alana Flores often receives e-mail from Snakehead Productions with coded instructions about Clues and Clue-hunters. Decode this message, and YOU could get a jump on one of the Lucian's most ruthless agents.

At least one of the other branches has cracked our codes. The spies will be caught and eliminated but we still need to be careful.

Be extra vigilant! Moving forward, Lucians should write everything (including love letters, notes to teachers, and shopping lists) in one of the new codes:

• Every Other Letter Code: Read every other letter, starting with the first, then go back and put together the letters you missed:
