Thank you for putting together the impromptu gathering last Saturday night. What a pleasure it was to reconnect with old friends and make some new alliances. I was very impressed with Bob's new place in Malibu. The views are breathtaking and the art collection is truly amazing.
Seeing so many familiar faces brings back fond memories. Do you remember Dermott's exploding sculptures? I loved it when he set off the one with fireworks in the gallery in New York City. He barely escaped before the police arrived! No one even noticed the powder traces that were spewed against the walls. At least no one except those of us who could read them. (Thank you for the black light!)

I was also delighted to see Garnett at the gathering, though he can be quite a handful. He may be able to compose groundbreaking musical scores but his demands are outrageous. For instance, did you know he eats only fresh, organic, farm-fed Finnish hare and fresh-squeezed tomato juice? I'm so glad for your advice about getting him to hire a 24-hour assistant.
It was nice to see Bruce, too. However, I must admit that no one was happier than I when Kurt at MUSE told him that he would not have a retrospective unless he could stop throwing bottles at people and threatening them over the phone in the middle of the night. I must say - we are a hot-tempered bunch!

It's wonderful to look back and remember all the great times we've shared. As excited as I am about assuming my new role, I do have some doubts. Do you think we will really be able to work together? I'm not sure the energy is right. I am scheduling some more acupuncture appointments to make sure my chakras are in balance. I'll also consult my astrologer to plan the timeliness of our next meeting. I want to make sure that the signs are all in accordance to create the best vibrations for positive energy and the creation of new strategies.
