[edit] Card 8

[edit] Summary

Ophir Dhupam is a movie star in India and Hollywood, and a Janus agent. He's currently starring in The Four Quarters Of My Heart, a movie musical set at the Taj Mahal. Ophir has thousands of fans (particularly girl fans, who sometimes faint when they see him). However, the other Cahill family branches are skeptical that an actor rumored to be as, well . . . kooky as Ophir could really be a powerful Janus agent. Rumor has it that Prateek Ghupta, Ophir's agent, is the true power. If only the other branches could break his e-mail codes....

Using an A=1 cipher, USTAD is spelt out from the numbers of the e-mail on the back of the card (which is hinted at from the card's online description). According to Wikipedia, "Ustad Ahmad Lahauri is generally considered to be the principal designer of the Taj Mahal."

Stolen Archive file 8: Revealing interview with Ophir Dhupam in a teen magazine

HANGIN' WITH THE O MAN!

(picture of Ophir Dhupam)

Teens! magazine caught up with Hollywood and Bollywood heartthrob Ophir Dhupam on the set of his movie next summer's sure-to-be smash hit, The Four Quarters of My Heart.

>> Teens!: So, wow, another blowout for Ophir Dhupam! I understand that The Four Quarters of My Heart is set at the Taj Mahal, and that the movie studio had to create four mini Taj Mahal sets for filming. What a production. Is it a grueling shoot? Did you mind dancing on the back of that elephant?
Ophir: I have danced on elephants many times. That is nothing for me. What I mind was the terrible script. I want to do something BIG!
Teens!: Um, 'cause dancing on elephants isn't big?
Ophir: I want an Oscar role! My agent has promised me an Oscar. I was born to win an Oscar.
Teens!: Yeah, right.
Ophir: WHAT did you say?
Teens!: I said, "All right!" An Oscar for Ophir! Very exciting stuff. But hey, to get an Oscar, don't you need to, like, act or something?
Ophir: I DO act!
Teens!: If that's what you say! But hey, how do you respond to critics' charges that your work is - well - I think "fluffy" is what the call it?
Ophir: I say that is an OUTRAGE! I say where is my agent? Prateek! Prateek! Where are you!?!
Teens!: No need to get alarmed there! I didn't say fluffy. Just, you know, some people. Like the LA Times and those guys. Besides, your agent scares me.
Ophir: The Los Angeles Times doesn't know what they are talking about! I am a very important man, as an actor and as a Cahi--
Teens!: Cahi? What's that?
Ophir: Nothing!
Teens!: And important how? I'm sure the readers at Teens! would like to know....
Ophir: Well, I hate to brag....
Teens!: Pretty please? And have I mentioned how handsome you're looking today?
Ophir: Well, if I had to say something, I would say that some people think very highly of me, and some people use my traveling around the world to pass on information, and some people let me hunt for ... Prateek? What are you doing here? Interview's over? Prateek?
Teens!: Hey! I wasn't done! Um... well, I guess that concludes this interview with Ophir Dhupam, international star, and ... uh, man of mystery?
