Alistair, my "dear" nephew:
Cary Park, VP of Development, has just shown me the prototype for your latest "invention," the "rocket skateboard." Delightful as it may be for children to zoom along the street crashing into unsuspecting pedestrians, I fail to see the usefulness of this toy for our more urgent purposes. I have charged you with a very important mission: finding the 39 Clues. Do you claim that this skateboard will help us do that somehow?
Since the microwavable burrito, which was a fluke, none of your so-called inventions have made a cent for the family or for Oh Enterprises. I'd like to explain something to you, nephew: We need money for many reasons, chief among them to FIND THE 39 CLUES!!!! Without money we will never be able to compete with the Lucians and their Russian billionaire backers, the Janus with their Hollywood money, or even those idiotic oil-rich Tomas. And how do you propose to solve this problem? By playing with toys?!
One more slipup and you are out.
I hope this message finds you in Istanbul, where you are supposed to be hard at work looking for Clues. If not, I do believe my head will explode with rage.
