The Cahills dominated the Wild West. The Tomas worked as sheriffs . . . and bandits, the Lucians ran the banks, the Ekats developed tools for mining gold, and the Janus ran the profitable saloons. However, there may have been another power at work. Something (or someone) had to be responsible for the creepy abandoned ghost towns scattered across the West. People don't just disappear . . . do they? What caused so many Cahills to scatter? And why were strange M-shaped carvings left behind?
