[edit] Card 109

[edit] Summary

As a pilot, Grace Cahill was famous for her daredevil flying and her tendency to, um, make up her own rules. But really, who has time to listen to air traffic controllers or airport administrators when there are Clues to find? That's why she flew out of private landing strips all over the world and maintained her own landing strip and flight crew near her hideout in Madagascar. Even the Lucians had trouble tracking The Flying Lemur when Grace decided to go off the radar. Especially when she had important guests to carry . . .

[edit] Memorandum

FROM: Grace Cahill TO: Charles Engelbrecht REGARDING: The Flying Lemur

I fail to see how it is MY responsibility that one of your mechanics had an "accident." I keep my tranquilizer darts in a box in the back of the plane, a box that your employee had no business opening. I don't see that it's DANGEROUS to keep tranquilizer darts on the plane and don't understand your employee's complaints. It sounds to me as if he had a very restful fourteen-hour nap. What could be more pleasant.

Now, two very important guests, Professor Robert Bardsley and Mrs. Winifred Thembeka, will be joining me next Saturday for a flight. I expect The Lemur to be in tip-top shape and your mechanics to keep their noses OUT of things that do not concern them.
